The details of the new Daytona Moto2 765 were finally released. The production run is limited to a total of 1,530 units (765 for the U.S. and Canada, 765 for Europe, Asia and the rest of the world). Each bike’s production number is laser etched into the top clamp of the triple trees.
The Moto2 765 is powered by a 765cc triple-cylinder engine, with claims of 128 horses and 58-foot pounds of torque, improving upon previous models. The new 765 is equipped with Brembo Stylema 4 piston radial monobloc calipers and dual 310mm floating rotors as well as a single-piston caliper with a 220mm single disc at the rear.
The model features an Ohlins suspension set up. In the front: 43mm adjustable upside down NIX30 forks, while the rear set up is composed of an Ohlins TTX36 twin tube adjustable mono-shock with piggyback reservoir. The Moto2 765’s premium lightweight chassis is straight from Triumph’s Moto2 development program.
Dressed in full carbon fiber bodywork, the Moto2 765 sports a unique Union Jack livery and official Moto2 branding. A single-seater, the Pirelli TD Supercora equipped bike features dynamic handling capabilities, suitable for both the track and the street.
The rider experience is enhanced by a full-color TFT screen, five ride modes and an up-and-down shift assist quick shifter.
