Piaggio recalls certain Moto Guzzi and Aprilia models as they are experiencing front brake drag that may cause the motorcycle to slow down or stop while in motion, creating a severe hazard and increasing risk of a crash. The issue is rooted at the front brake master cylinder. Models infected include 2016-2018 Moto Guzzi Audace 1400 and Eldorado 1400, 2017-2018 Moto Guzzi California 1400, 2017 Moto Guzzi MGX 21 Bagger, 2013-2014 Aprilia Mana 850, 2014-2016 Aprilia Dorsoduro 750, 2018-2019 Aprilia Dorsoduro 900, and 2018 Aprilia Shiver 900.

As Piaggio recalls several models, the manufacturer is notifying owners and instructing dealerships to inspect and replace, if necessary the front brake master cylinder at no charge.
