The Royal Enfield Bullet 650 made its North American debut at the 2026 Audrain Concours Motor Week at Fort Adams State Park in Rhode Island, where Jay Leno unveiled the bike alongside the Royal Enfield team. The company calls it the first chance for US riders to see the all-new twin in person.

Royal Enfield also showed a group of historic motorcycles at the event, chosen to reflect the brand’s 125-year history. Leno talked through the model’s history and key features. Nathan Kolbe, the company’s head of marketing for the Americas, called the bike a “crown jewel” of the lineup.
The more useful news is for anyone who wants to see one up close. Royal Enfield says the Royal Enfield Bullet 650 is now at retailers across North America, and riders can try it through the company’s demo fleets. The brand lists about 150 dealers in North America and nearly 4,000 stores in more than 80 countries.

Royal Enfield Bullet 650 Specs and Price
The Royal Enfield Bullet 650 uses a 647.95cc inline twin with a single overhead cam, a 78 x 67.8mm bore and stroke and a 9.5:1 compression ratio. Royal Enfield lists 34.6 kW, about 46 horsepower, at 7,250 rpm and 52.3 Nm, about 38.6 lb-ft, at 5,650 rpm. A six-speed gearbox, slipper clutch, fuel injection and electric start complete the drivetrain.
The frame is a steel tubular spine. Wheels are a 19-inch front and an 18-inch rear with aluminum rims and chrome hubs. Brakes are a 320mm front disc and a 300mm rear disc, each with a twin-piston floating caliper, plus dual-channel ABS.
Seat height is 800mm, about 31.5 inches. Curb weight is 243 kg, about 536 pounds, with 90 percent fuel and oil, and the tank holds 14.8 liters, about 3.9 gallons. Royal Enfield’s own page lists conflicting suspension figures, so we are holding those numbers until the company clears them up.
On price, Royal Enfield’s US page says the Royal Enfield Bullet 650 starts from $7,799, with a footnote the page does not explain. Treat that figure as provisional until a dealer or the company confirms it. Cannon Black is the only color the page names.
Royal Enfield Bullet 650 Design and Details
Styling is deliberately old-school. The Royal Enfield Bullet 650 has a single step-up seat, a hand-painted pinstriped tank with 3D badging and chrome peashooter exhausts. An LED headlamp sits in a casquette-style housing with twin lamps Royal Enfield calls tiger eyes, and polished aluminum switchgear carries the retro theme into the cockpit.
The modern parts are quieter: a USB Type-C port, hazard control, span-adjustable brake and clutch levers, and an updated instrument cluster that shows fuel level, gear position and service reminders.
The history is the point. The first Bullet dates to 1932, and Royal Enfield describes it as the longest continuously produced motorcycle model. The Royal Enfield Bullet 650 arrives in the brand’s 125th year, and Royal Enfield says it pairs the original character with a more refined, comfortable ride.

Royal Enfield Bullet 650 and the Rest of the 650 Twins
The Royal Enfield Bullet 650 joins a crowded family. Royal Enfield’s 650cc twins now include the Bear 650, INT 650, Continental GT 650, Shotgun 650, Classic 650, Super Meteor 650 and the Bullet. The Shotgun 650 and the Bear 650 already sit in that group, and the company keeps building out its US presence, including its first flagship dealership in Iowa.
With seven twins built around one engine family, Royal Enfield no longer sells a 650 on horsepower. It sells a reason to pick one over its siblings, and the Royal Enfield Bullet 650 has a name that goes back to 1932. The demo fleets will show how much weight that carries with US riders who have never seen one on a dealer floor.
