Ducati has named Fabrizio Cazzoli as Global Sales & After Sales Director, with a simultaneous seat on the company’s Board of Management. The role directly shapes dealer experience, service quality, and product availability across markets — not headline racing or product news, but genuinely relevant to how Ducati actually shows up for owners and buyers day to day.
From Logistics to the Boardroom: Cazzoli’s Path at Ducati
Fabrizio Cazzoli began his Ducati career in logistics, working through roles of increasing responsibility in commercial and international operations before managing Ducati’s Japanese subsidiary. A significant stint at Maserati followed — notable cross-brand, cross-industry experience beyond pure motorcycle-industry work — before he returned to Ducati to manage strategic markets including China and the United Kingdom.
“Fabrizio is a true Ducatista,” said Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati. “He spent the early years of his career in Borgo Panigale and then gained direct experience across several markets, giving him a deep understanding of what makes the Ducati experience unique and special. This is particularly important at such a complex time for the market.” Domenicali also thanked outgoing director Francesco Milicia, crediting him with “outstanding results” and “remarkable leadership skills” across his time at Ducati.

What the Role Actually Controls
The mandate is genuinely large. Fabrizio Cazzoli will lead Ducati’s Sales & After Sales activities globally, defining and executing commercial strategy across markets and coordinating commercial development across 86 countries. He takes direct responsibility for 13 National Sales companies and the network of independent distributors, with Sales Strategies, Planning and Business Development, Commercial After Sales, Service, CRM and Customer Experience Excellence, and Dealer Training all reporting to him — the functions most directly felt by everyday Ducati owners and prospective buyers.
Fabrizio Cazzoli himself was direct about the moment: “Taking on the role of Ducati’s Global Sales & After Sales Director is a great honour and a responsibility I embrace with enthusiasm,” Cazzoli said. “Together with my colleagues and partners in our sales network, we will continue to work to further strengthen the brand’s presence worldwide and offer increasingly engaging experiences to our clients and enthusiasts.”
The appointment carries a related change: Fabrizio Cazzoli’s former responsibility for the UK, Ireland, Sweden, and Norway markets passes to Sara Falzolgher, currently Ducati’s Marketing and Communications Director, who will now lead the UK subsidiary directly.
