Attack Performance Progressive Yamaha Racing has announced Xavi Fores as the lead rider for this year’s prestigious Daytona 200 aboard the Yamaha YZF-R6. This strategic move comes as Cameron Petersen is on the mend, paving the way for Fores, fresh off his triumphant 2023 Championship Supersport season with the Ducati New York Warhorse HSBK team, to take the reins. Fores, a rider of considerable talent and experience, has an impressive resume that spans the World and National Superbike Championships and the Endurance World Championship, making him a formidable contender for Yamaha.

Yamaha’s history at the Daytona 200 is one of dominance and prestige, having clinched the title 27 times since Don Emde’s landmark victory in 1972.
