2019 Triumph Bonneville Speed Twin

The British manufacturer returns with a “New Performance Icon”

Triumph has released the details on their latest offering, the 2019 Bonneville Speed Twin. The specific Bonneville style is ever present with the new Street Twin: from its 3.8-gallon fuel tank, low-height custom style bench seat, side panels with aluminum badges and staple bar end mirrors.

Powered by an eight-valve 1200cc, Thruxton tuned, twin cylinder engine, the 2019 Speed Twin boasts 96 horses with 83 foot-pounds of torque. The new model weighs 22 pounds less than the Thruxton and almost 60 pounds lighter than the T120. The 2019 Speed Twin is equipped with Brembo brakes, ABS and switchable traction control. Advance rider experience features include sport, road, and rain riding modes. The Speed Twin is also highlighted by a torque assist clutch, dual black upswept exhaust pipes, seven-spoke aluminum wheels and LED headlights, rear lights as well as integrated brake and turn indicators.

The 2019 Bonneville Speed Twin is scheduled to hit the dealership floor in February of 2019 and will be available in three color choices that include Silver Ice and Storm Grey, Korosi Red and Storm Grey and Jet Black.
