Team Hammer celebrates 41 years as a professional road racing organization, announcing its rider lineup for the 2021 MotoAmerica season.
Suzuki announced Team Hammer as its official road racing partner for the 2021 MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Racing Series. The Suzuki-backed outfit will compete in Superbike, Supersport, and Stock 1000 classes under the official team title, Team M4 ECSTAR Suzuki.
For the team’s efforts in the Superbike class, it enlisted the talents of Bobby Fong and South African Cam Petersen. Fong is the 2019 MotoAmerica Supersport Championship. Petersen is the reigning 2020 MotoAmnerica Stock 1000 Champion. He joins the team, replacing the recently retired Toni Elias.
Throughout its tenure in the arena of road racing arena, Team Hammer has garnered nine AMA Pro and MotoAmerica National titles. The organization has earned 108 race wins and 291 top-three finishes in MotoAmerica, AMA Formula Xtreme, AMA 750cc Supersport, and AMA Pro Daytona Sportbike.
Team M4 ECSTAR Suzuki will announce the rest of their 2021 riders on March 30, at the 2021 MotoAmerica Official Test at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.
