Suzuki is celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Hayabusa with a special edition model that praises the Bird of Prey’s performance, engineering, and style.

When the Suzuki Hayabusa roared onto the motorcycle scene 25 years ago, it revolutionized the industry and redefined performance standards. With its daring concept and unparalleled riding experience, the Hayabusa quickly became a sales sensation, selling nearly 300,000 units worldwide. This iconic sportbike has continued to captivate motorcycle enthusiasts, including drag racers, customizers, and riders in general, thanks to its exceptional performance, engineering prowess, and distinctive styling. As the Hayabusa enters its next chapter, Suzuki unveils the highly anticipated 2024 Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Model, surpassing riders’ expectations once again. This special edition model pays homage to the motorcycle’s unique appeal and showcases Suzuki’s unparalleled craftsmanship.

The 25th Anniversary Hayabusa stands out with its eye-catching Glass Blaze Orange and Glass Sparkle Black color combination, reminiscent of the popular Gen II model. Accentuated by a unique V-shaped red graphic, this stunning appearance is complemented by a range of exclusive features specific to the anniversary model.

The distinctive elements are the 25th-anniversary emblem and raised Suzuki logos adorning the fuel tank, elegant 25th-anniversary logos etched on each muffler, and the striking gloss black cowling trim. The brake rotor carriers and drive chain adjusters are gold-anodized, while the Hayabusa Kanji logo adorns the drive chain plates. The single-seat cowling also comes as standard equipment, completing the distinctive look of this anniversary edition.

These unique features enhance the impressive array of attributes in the Hayabusa, including its powerful engine, responsive suspension, and advanced electronics. The design takes inspiration from the world’s fastest animal, the Peregrine falcon, to achieve ultimate performance and aerodynamic refinement. The sleek lines and sophisticated shapes further contribute to its captivating appearance.

Under the fairing, the Hayabusa packs a 1340cc, four-cylinder, DOHC engine with Ride-by-Wire electronic throttle bodies and dual fuel injectors. The symmetrical twin silencer exhaust system provides improved flow and an exhilarating exhaust note, while the Suzuki Ram Air Direct (SRAD) intakes ensure pressurized air induction for optimal performance.

The twin-spar aluminum frame delivers a smooth ride and nimble handling, complemented by the adjustable KYB-supplied suspension that can be fine-tuned to match rider comfort and road conditions. The Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (SIRS) introduces electronic rider aids, including Cruise Control and Bi-directional Quick Shift systems, granting control over various engine characteristics, acceleration, deceleration, steady speeds, engine and driveline operation, and braking. The customizable settings cater to different riding conditions, road surfaces, and rider experience levels, elevating performance and comfort for an unrivaled sportbike experience. The three-mode Bi-directional Quick Shift system allows clutchless up- and down-shifts, while the SCAS-style clutch system ensures smooth engine power transfer and exceptional manners during engine braking.
