For three decades, the collaboration between Honda Racing Corporation and Repsol has been a dominant force, achieving remarkable success in MotoGP. But all good things must come to an end. Honda Racing Corporation and Repsol have announced their long-standing partnership will conclude after the 2024 season.
The Repsol Honda Team debuted in 1995 and immediately made an impact by clinching the Championship in its inaugural year. That championship season began a journey that resulted in 15 championships, 10 team championships, 183 wins, and 455 podiums over 30-plus years. The illustrious roster of Repsol HRC riders includes the late Nicky Hayden, Casey Stoner, Mick Doohan, Dani Pedrosa, Jorge Lorenzo, and many more.
The conclusion of the HRC and Repsol collaboration marks the end of a celebrated chapter in the sport’s history. It will be fascinating to see what’s next for both staples of the GP paddock.
