Just announced, the MotoGP Provisional 2022 calendar includes 21 rounds and introduces two new circuits.
Under the lights of the Losail International Circuit in Qatar in March, the MotoGP 2022 calendar will commence. The provisional calendar for the season will continue through November of 2022.
The 21 round itinerary returns to a selection of both team and fan favorites, alike. However, the 2022 MotoGP season introduces two new circuits. The second round will be held in Indonesia at the Mandalika International Street Circuit. The thirteenth round will be a stop in Finland at the KymiRing.
The 2022 calendar notes a return to a circuit that has not been on the schedule since 2019. The Argentinian Termas de Rio Hondo will host the third round. Additionally, the circuit is contracted to host GP through to 2025.
MotoGP returns to the circuit of the Americas for the fourth round of the 2022 season over the weekend of April 8 – 10.
It is important to note that the 21 round calendar is the most extensive schedule in MotoGP history. A 19 round schedule was considered the most in a single season but the addition of Indonesia and Finland boosts the number to 21.

The MotoGP 2022 calendar marks the conclusion of the season in Valencia at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo over the weekend of November 4 – 6.
