Indian Motorcycle put on quite the show at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, as Jeremy McWilliams took control of the King of the Baggers Indian Challenger RR. At the same time, Brandon Robinson displayed his American Flat Track prowess on the FTR750.
The Indian Challenger RR drew admiration from racing legends eager to gain insights from McWilliams on the unique experience of riding and racing the Challenger RR. McWilliams remarked, “There’s not many, if any, events like this anywhere in the world. Seeing these baggers racing on YouTube is one thing, but seeing and hearing them up close is something else.”
For collectors and racing enthusiasts, the Challenger RR presents a great opportunity to own a piece of racing history. Only 29 production bikes, built to the specifications of Tyler O’Hara’s championship-winning bike, were produced to celebrate the 2022 King of the Baggers title.
Brandon Robinson flexed on the #29 Indian FTR750. Stepping in for Jared Mees, Robinson’s ascent up the Goodwood hill provided quite the spectacle. Robinson said, “Goodwood Festival, what’s not to love? This place is insane. I’ve never seen so many people in one place for a motorsport event in my life.”
The Indian FTR750, renowned for its high-performance 750cc V-Twin engine and lightweight steel frame, is a sought-after machine in flat track racing. It has secured seven consecutive American Flat Track SuperTwins Championships.
Indian Motorcycle, with the assistance of Brandon Robinson and Jeremy McWilliams as well as the Indian Challeger and the FTR750 repesented a little bit of American vibes across the pond to the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Way to keep it classy, Indian.
