The New Indian Motorcycle Signature Series Puts Craftsmanship Front and Center

Indian Motorcycle’s new Signature Series features a multi-layer paint process across four PowerPlus models, with the Roadmaster and Pursuit touring bikes honoring America’s 250th anniversary.

The Indian Motorcycle Signature Series is a genuine craftsmanship showcase, not a performance variant — a limited-production collection spanning four Indian Motorcycle PowerPlus models, built around a painstaking multi-layer paint process and extensive hand-detailing rather than any mechanical departure from the standard lineup.

Four Models, Two Paint Stories: Aggressive Baggers, Patriotic Touring Bikes

The Indian Motorcycle Signature Series splits cleanly into two visual directions. The two bagger models — Chieftain PowerPlus and Indian Challenger — get a dark, aggressive paint scheme, while the two touring models — Roadmaster PowerPlus and Indian Pursuit — pay tribute to America’s 250th Anniversary with a patriotic red, white, and blue-inspired aesthetic.

Within the Indian Signature Motorcycle Series, Chieftain PowerPlus starts at $40,999 MSRP, wearing Abyss Metallic and Venom Green with Cypher Green accents over Gauge Gray — a deep, shadowed foundation cut through with accents that create a sense of motion even at a standstill. Indian Challenger Signature Series, also $40,999 MSRP, runs the same blacked-out Abyss Metallic base, complemented by Machined Silver and Red Alert accents over Gauge Gray for sharp contrast and definition.

The remaining two Indian Motorcycle Signature Series models lean into the anniversary theme: Roadmaster PowerPlus, at $46,749 MSRP, wears a timeless Frontier Pearl finish elevated with Vigilant Blue and Revere Red accents — a look rooted in heritage but built with modern precision. Indian Pursuit Signature Series, matching that $46,749 MSRP, shares essentially the same Frontier Pearl, Revere Red, and Vigilant Blue palette, positioning the two touring models as a matched pair within the collection. Both are explicitly framed as a tribute to America’s 250th Anniversary.

“Since 1901, Indian Motorcycle has pursued the ultimate intersection of form and function — motorcycles that are as beautiful in design as they are sophisticated in performance,” said Mike Kennedy, CEO of Indian Motorcycle. “Signature Series embodies that mindset with every surface, every line, and every layer approached with a spirit of artistry… These motorcycles make a bold visual statement about our commitment to American craftsmanship.” Indian Motorcycle is marking 125 years in business this year, and the Signature Series paint process — multi-layered, hand-detailed, and built to shift with light and movement — is the collection’s way of putting that history on display.

Beyond the Paint: PowerPlus 112 and a Full Rider Assist Suite

Every Indian Motorcycle Signature Series model runs the PowerPlus 112 engine — liquid-cooled, overhead cams, four valves per cylinder, tuned for strong, responsive performance across the entire powerband rather than a narrow peak-power window. Standard on PowerPlus 112 models is the full Rider Assist suite: Bike Hold Control, Electronic Combined Braking, Blind Spot Warning, Tailgate Warning, and Rear Collision Warning, all integrated with Indian’s SmartLean Technology for genuine lean-angle-aware rider assistance.

Tech runs deep across the lineup: a 7-inch touchscreen powered by RIDE COMMAND handles GPS navigation and Bluetooth connectivity, with RIDE COMMAND+ services adding Bike Locator, Bike Health, and Apple CarPlay. The PowerBand Audio system steps up specifically for the Signature Series — 400 watts on the bagger models, 600 watts on the touring models — engineered to cut through road, wind, and engine noise. A full range of color-matched accessories rounds out the personalization options for riders who want to push the look even further.
