Over $570,000 in support is up for grabs as Harley-Davidson contingency programs are announced for the 2024 racing season.
The newly announced Harley-Davidson Contingency Programs for the 2024 MotoAmerica and American Flat Track season offer substantial financial support for racers, totaling more than $570,000. This initiative marks a significant investment in the American Flat Track series and the MotoAmerica Mission Foods King of the Baggers and Super Hooligan Series, underlining Harley-Davidson’s commitment to the sport and its competitors.
Harley-Davidson’s Factory Racing Team is preparing to participate in the MotoAmerica road racing series in 2024 with Kyle Wyman and James Rispoli as riders, using race-modified Road Glide motorcycles with Screamin’ Eagle Milwaukee-Eight 131 Performance Crate Engines.
The Mission Foods King of the Baggers Contingency has expanded to 16 races and has a cash contingency of $263,000 for qualified Harley-Davidson racers, with rewards available for first to 10th place, along with a $35,000 championship bonus.
The contingency program for racers competing in the SuperTwins class during the 2024 Progressive American Flat Track series will offer $185,000 in contingency funds for eligible SuperTwins class riders, paying from first to tenth place and a $20,000 championship bonus. The season will start with the Daytona Short Track double-header in March.
2024 also sees the debut of the Mission Foods Super Hooligan Contingency by Harley-Davidson. This series focuses on 750cc-and-up high-bar street bikes, offering a dynamic road racing experience. With a prize pool of $123,000, Harley-Davidson is committing to rewarding racers from first to 10th place, topped with a $20,000 championship bonus.
