Triumph Trident Triple Tribute: Honoring a Racing Legend
Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled the 2026 Triumph Trident Triple Tribute model, a striking special edition that celebrates Triumph’s storied motorsport heritage, paying homage to the iconic ‘Slippery Sam’—the legendary Trident triple-cylinder motorcycle that dominated the Isle of Man TT races with five historic victories in the 1970s. Draped in a compelling new racing-inspired graphic scheme, this latest iteration perfectly blends heritage aesthetics with impressive rider tech.

The Triumph Trident Triple Tribute commands attention with its striking color palette that begins with its lustrous Sapphire Black base, accentuated by vibrant splashes of Diablo Red and Cobalt Blue graphics, sweeping boldly across the tank, tail, and front end. The racing number ’67’ emblazoned across the tank is a nod to Slippery Sam’s legacy. Completing the visual impact are aggressive Diablo Red wheels mated to Michelin Road 5 tires, a windscreen, and a belly pan—both color-matched.

Triumph Trident Triple Tribute: Performance and Rider-Focused Tech
Under the tank of the Triumph Trident Triple Tribute remains the 660cc inline triple engine, tuned specifically for this edition and fully Euro 5+ compliant. You’ll enjoy the power delivery of 80 horses peaking at 10,250 rpm, complemented by a robust 47-foot pounds of torque at 6,250 rpm. Whether negotiating tight urban streets or carving flowing mountain roads, the ride-by-wire throttle and linear torque curve ensure a responsive and engaging performance across the rev range, all underscored by the distinctive triple-cylinder exhaust note delivered through an underbody stainless-steel exhaust pipe.

The chassis configuration features lightweight tubular steel construction, Showa’s high-specification suspension—including 41mm inverted Big Piston forks on the front end and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are managed by twin Nissin two-piston calipers gripping 310mm discs, offering smooth, responsive stopping power.
The Triumph Trident Triple Tribute has a solid list of rider-focused technologies with notable additions for 2026 that include a dedicated Sport riding mode, the inclusion of Optimized Cornering ABS, and Traction Control. A standard Triumph Shift Assist enables effortless, clutchless gear changes.

A low seat height of 31.7 inches, combined with a manageable wet weight of 418.9 pounds, makes this bike approachable, invigorating, and suitable for new and experienced riders alike. Cruise Control and My Triumph Connectivity System are standard.
Starting at $8,745.00, the Triumph Trident Triple Tribute arrives in dealerships in June 2025.
