The 2024 V-STROM 800 is the latest offering from the Suzuki ADV lineup, born from the spirit of versatility.
At the heart of the 2024 Suzuki V-STROM 800 lies a new-generation 776cc parallel-twin engine, roaring with strength and precision. The V-STROM is paired with Suzuki’s exclusive Cross Balancer system, offering a harmonious blend of power and smoothness.
With its 270-degree crankshaft configuration, the V-Strom’s power delivery and exhaust note are comparable to 90-degree V-twin engines. Additionally, the Suzuki Cross Balancer, a patented feature, enhances the engine’s smooth operation and contributes to a compact and lightweight design.
The V-STROM 800 now features a new SHOWA SFF-BP fork setup that enhances its front wheel control. The inverted fork of the new SHOWA SFF-BP ensures smooth front wheel movement. At the same time, the rear shock absorber is equipped with a remote and hand-operated hydraulic spring preload adjuster for quick tuning according to passenger or cargo needs. The SHOWA suspension is optimized for both straight-line and cornering performance.
The new forks accommodate the new radially mounted NISSIN four-piston brake calipers. These calipers grip onto a set of 310mm stainless steel brake rotors. The front and rear calipers have a 260mm rotor and are equipped with a compact ABS. This system offers the rider two different mode settings based on the road conditions they encounter.
The V-STROM 800 now comes with new seven-spoke cast-aluminum wheels paired with a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear tire. Dunlop’s latest D614F (110/80R19) and D614 (150/70R17) tubeless ADV tires were designed specifically for this model. They feature a new tread pattern and a custom-engineered internal structure, allowing excellent asphalt performance and exploring unpaved roads. The tubeless tires’ exclusive tread pattern ensures reliable traction, braking, and smooth handling, even on rough terrain.
You can easily access and control the advanced electronic control systems of the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.) using a 5-inch TFT LCD multifunction instrument panel in full color. These systems include the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector, the Suzuki Traction Control System*, and Suzuki’s Bi-Directional Quick Shift system.
A wide, vibration-damping handlebar that tapers, a supportive seat, and rubber-padded footpegs make longer rides comfortable. The adjustable windscreen is tall and wide and sits above compact Mono-focus LED headlights, providing ample illumination. The bike’s styling is unmistakably V-STROM, complete with Suzuki’s iconic Dakar Rally-style beak.
The $9,899 2024 Suzuki V-STROM 800 will be available in Metallic Matte Steel Green, while the upgraded $10,499 Touring model, complete with a 35-liter plastic top case and hand guards, comes in Glass Sparkle Black.
