The MotoAmerica Mission Mini Cup By Motul National Finals will take place at Road America’s Briggs & Stratton Motorplex in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, from August 9 to 11. Young road racers from across the country will compete for the AMA National Championships in six classes: Stock 50cc, Stock 110cc, Stock 125cc, GP 160, GP 190, and Street GP. Four races are scheduled per class. The rider with the most points in their class is crowned National Champion and will receive the hallowed number one plate.
Chuck Aksland, MotoAmerica COO, has expressed excitement for the event and emphasized that Road America is the ideal circuit for the final. “We’re excited for the debut of our Mission Mini Cup By Motul National Final. These racers have qualified in regional races across the country and now we will get to find out who is the best of the best in the National Final. Road America is the perfect location for the final as the Briggs & Stratton Motorplex has two great tracks in a wonderful setting. We wish the best to all our competitors and can’t wait to watch the action unfold.”
In addition to the AMA number-one plates, champions will receive various accolades from series sponsors, such as Championship Guitars from Dunlop, Tommy Duma Fine Jewelry Championship pendants, Arai helmets, and Motion Pro gift packs.
The MotoAmerica Mini Cup Finals will be broadcast on MotoAmerica Live+, with live streaming and video-on-demand for Saturday and Sunday’s race action. MotoAmerica’s Roger Hayden and current Mission King Of The Baggers racer James Rispoli will provide commentary.
