Following the success of the RS 660, the Aprilia Tuono 660 makes its debut in the sport naked middleweight class.
The Aprilia’s RS 660 introduced a new class of middleweight sportbike and is an early success. Riding on that wave of success, Aprilia is releasing a naked version of the RS 660… The 2021 Aprilia Tuono 660.
Equipped with a 658.8cc forward-facing twin-cylinder engine, the Aprilia Tuono provides a performance output of 95 HP. Paired with a wet weight of 403 pounds, the Tunono 660 presents itself as a lightweight powerhouse.
The new Tuono 660 takes cues from the traditional Tuono V4 with elements such as the high handlebar setup, higher riding position and upper cowling. However, the 2021 Tuono 660 also forges ahead with the new design styles as seen on Aprilia’s 2021 RS 660. The Tuono 660’s configuration is highlighted by a lightweight die-cast aluminum frame and swingarm. There are double fairings. On the front end, you’ll find a triple LED headlight unit featuring DRL lights.
The Aprilia Tuono 660 is equipped with a comprehensive electronic package that includes five riding modes, multi-level traction control, anti-wheelie control, cruise control, engine brake and selectable engine maps, as well as the ABS system.
Aprilia’s 2021 Tuono 660 is presented in three color options: Concept Black, Iridium Grey and Acid Gold. With a price range between $10,499 and $10,699, the Tuono 660 is scheduled to arrive at dealerships in early 2021.
