The 2027 Suzuki Hayabusa is here, and it arrives as the second wave of Suzuki’s 2027 rollout — following last week’s GSX-R1000 40th Anniversary lineup and the all-new SV-7GX and SV-7GXV crossovers. The flagship gets two standard colorways starting at $19,699, plus a new Special Edition at $20,399 with a genuinely distinctive color scheme and a handful of details worth breaking down.

The 2027 Hayabusa: What’s Standard
The 2027 Suzuki Hayabusa carries forward the same 1,340cc inline-four that’s defined the model for generations, paired with the full Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.) suite as standard — the same electronics architecture SBI covered on the new SV-7GX, now underpinning Suzuki’s flagship sportbike. A Bi-directional Quick Shift System and Smart Cruise Control both come standard rather than as options, a genuine value point at this price point for a flagship. Braking comes from premium Brembo Stylema front calipers paired with Motion Track Brake System, Suzuki’s cornering-aware ABS.
Worth naming directly: the 2027 Suzuki Hayabusa’s aerodynamic bodywork is explicitly inspired by the peregrine falcon — the world’s fastest animal, and the literal source of the bike’s name (“hayabusa” is Japanese for peregrine falcon). It’s a detail that connects the bike’s design language directly back to what it was named for in the first place. The 2027 Hayabusa is available in Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Reflective Blue, both at $19,699.

The Special Edition: What the Extra $700 Gets You
At $20,399 — a $700 premium over standard — the 2027 Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition includes every standard feature plus a genuinely distinctive Pearl Brilliant White and Metallic Oort Gray color combination with red accents. Unique Special Edition badging and a raised SUZUKI fuel tank emblem add tactile, three-dimensional detail that reads as more premium than a simple decal package. A color-matched solo seat cowl comes standard — worth noting specifically, since solo seat cowls are frequently a paid accessory on other sportbikes at this level, not included equipment. Black exhaust end caps round out the Special Edition’s specific styling touches.
Whether the extra $700 is worth it comes down to whether the seat cowl and badging detail matter to you — mechanically, both versions of the 2027 Suzuki Hayabusa are identical. Full details on both models are available at suzukicycles.com.
