The Aprilia RS 457 is set to make its debut in the USA in April 2024. It comes with a competitive price tag, starting at $6,799 for the Prismatic Dark and Opalescent Light color options and $6,899 for the Racing Stripes model. Canadian riders can expect the bike to arrive in June 2024, with pricing starting at $7,799 for the Prismatic Dark and Opalescent Light models and $7,999 for the Racing Stripes version.
Aprilia recently announced this all new model, welcomed as a new era in the mid-range sportbike segment. Following the remarkable success of the Aprilia RS 660, which became Europe’s best-selling sportbike, the brand decided to continue the winning formula with the RS 457. This bike serves as a bridge between the smaller 125cc engines and the larger RS 660, offering a perfect balance of power and ease of handling.
The RS 457 is powered by a liquid-cooled parallel twin-cylinder engine with double camshaft timing and four valves per cylinder, providing an impressive 47 horsepower. Suspension duties fall on 41 mm front forks with 120 mm travel and a rear monoshock with preload adjustability for 130 mm wheel travel. The two channel ABS braking setup is handled by a pair of 320 mm front disc with a 4-piston caliper and a 220 mm rear rotor.
Pre-ordering is now active via the Aprilia website.
