Making his Isle of Man TT debut in 2024, Patrick Hoff campaigns for his Penz13.com team.
German rider Patrick Hoff is set to make his debut at the Isle of Man TT Races in 2024. Hoff will be riding his own BMW under the banner of the Penz13.com team and will compete in the RST Superbike, RL360 Superstock, and Milwaukee Senior TT Races. He started his racing career relatively late, in 2015. After competing in hill climb competitions in 2018, he turned his attention to road racing. He has since become one of the top competitors in the International Road Racing Championship (IRRC) series, finishing third overall in the IRRC Superbike Championship this year.
Originally, Hoff had considered entering the TT this year, but his friend and countryman David Datzer, the current fastest German around the TT Course, recommended another year to increase his experience. Hoff finished eighth in the championship in 2022, but his results improved again this year after doing another season in the IRRC. He finished third overall in the IRRC Superbike Championship. Hoff has already visited the Isle of Man twice and has done around 20 laps around the course in a car. He has also been studying onboard laps and the PlayStation game regularly. Hoff is starting to feel more confident and is looking forward to racing around the Mountain Course.
For 2024, Hoff’s main goal is to be safe and enjoy himself, as this is a long-term project for him. He will aim to build up his speed and get used to the track during qualifying week. He hopes to perform similarly to how Lukas and Erno did in their first year and then improve year on year after that.
