Unveiling a new form of luxury, the MV Agusta LXP Orioli is a limited-edition ADV that pays tribute to a motorcycling legend.
MV Agusta is breaking new ground with the release of the MV Agusta LXP Orioli, a limited-edition luxury all-terrain motorcycle. Produced in a limited run of just 500 units, this bike pays tribute to Italian motorcycling legend Edi Orioli. Edi Orioli, who wore the iconic Lucky Explorer colors of green, red, and white, became a symbol of adventure riding in the 1990s, dominating the world rally scene, has personally signed each unit.
The MV Agusta LXP Orioli boasts a new 126 pound 931 cc three-cylinder engine developed entirely in Varese. This engine delivers 124 horsepower at 10,000 rpm and 102 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, offering impressive performance and adaptability to a wide range of riding conditions. With a counter-rotating crankshaft, innovative cooling systems, and DLC-coated cams, this powerplant is engineered for exceptional performance and reduced vibrations. The exhaust system is finely tuned to optimize the 950 engine’s performance and deliver an aggressive sound.
The MV Agusta LXP Orioli is equipped with a sophisticated 6-axis inertial platform that interfaces with advanced electronics. It features Full Ride by Wire technology with multiple riding modes, including Urban, Touring, Off-Road, and Custom All-Terrain. The bike’s traction control, which can be disabled, offers five levels of intervention for road use and two for off-road conditions. The Cornering ABS incorporates Rear Wheel Lift-Up Mitigation (RLM), providing excellent safety and control. The twist grip with counter-rotation enhances rider feedback and control. Additionally, the instrument panel features a high-resolution 7” color TFT display with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity for smartphone integration, navigation, and data sharing.
The MV Agusta LXP Orioli features an aluminum alloy frame and swing-arm that are optimized for lightweight construction. The suspension system comprises a fully adjustable Sachs fork and a mono-shock with progressive link for superior handling. With 230 mm of ground clearance and enduro-style 21 inch front and 18 inch rear wheels, this bike is ready to tackle diverse terrains. Brembo brakes, crash bars, an aluminum engine guard, and additional lights add practicality and value. The luxury adventure bike is equipped with Bridgestone Battlax AX41 tires for off-road adventures.
The MV Agusta LXP Orioli includes the MV Ride app, offering an enhanced riding experience with turn-by-turn navigation, data acquisition, and community sharing features. Riders can customize their motorcycle’s response via the Custom map and share it with fellow motorcyclists. Anti-theft geolocation is included for added security.
MV Agusta’s signature style shines through the LXP Orioli’s elegant Pearl White fairings, front fender, and select details that pay homage to Edi Orioli’s iconic Lucky Explorer colors. The Carbon-Metallic Black central section and seat create a striking visual contrast. The 500 units of the MV Agusta LXP Orioli will be delivered to customers starting in the first quarter of 2024.
