Three MotoGP World Champions will be inducted into the MotoGP Legends 2022 Hall of Fame after Covid-19 delays.
There will be three MotoGP Legend Hall of Fame inductions in 2022 as events and schedules begin to settle into a new normality.
Jorge Lorenzo, the five-time World Champion, will become a MotoGP Legend on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at the Gran Premio Red Bull de España at the Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto in Lorenzo’s home country of Spain.
The Italian, four-time World Champion, Max Biaggi will be inducted on Saturday, May 14. 2022 at the SHARK Grand Prix de France at Le Mans in France.
The final inductee is Hugh Anderson whose MotoGP Legend ceremony will commence toward the end of the season at Phillip Island in Australia. Hugh Anderson is a four-time World Champion, hailing from New Zealand.
The original dates for the ceremonies were rescheduled because of Covid-19 restrictions. As restrictions ease, the opportunity for the MotoGP Legend Hall of Fame inductees to thoroughly enjoy their induction rites in full regale, so new dates were set.
