MotoGP at Valencia: A Fan Favorite Secured
The renewal guarantees that MotoGP at Valencia will remain a key highlight for the championship from 2027 through 2031. Circuit Ricardo Tormo stands out on the international stage with its amphitheater-like design, allowing spectators in nearly every seat to enjoy unobstructed views of every angle.
The track’s proximity to the city of Valencia, known for its rich cultural heritage and bustling lifestyle, enhances the race weekend into a complete sensory experience. Circuit Ricardo Tormo has consistently earned accolades, including multiple Best Grand Prix awards, cementing its reputation as one of the premier events on the global MotoGP calendar.
MotoGP at Valencia: Commitment and Recovery
Carlos Mazón, President of the Generalitat Valenciana, highlighted the profound economic and emotional significance of MotoGP Valencia: “There is no other Grand Prix that hangs the sold-out sign up as far in advance as the one in Valencia. Here there is a huge fandom, a love of motorsport, for motorcycling. This renewal comes in a context of greater competitiveness than ever, and we were always convinced that we had the winning card. I also don’t want to fail to mention the economic impact MotoGP has as we work on recovery—not only emotional recovery but economic recovery.”
Supporting this sentiment, Nicolás Collado, General Manager of Circuit Ricardo Tormo, emphasized the venue’s resilience: “This is the best news we could bring to the Circuit Ricardo Tormo—that we can guarantee MotoGP Valencia until at least 2031. We’re proud that after 25 years of excellence, we remain trusted by MotoGP and supported by the Valencia government. Following the flooding challenges of 2024, we’re committed to delivering the greatest MotoGP Valencia event yet this coming November.”
Dorna Sports CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta further affirmed the importance of MotoGP Valencia, praising the unique atmosphere and exceptional organizational standards: “The track is unique with the view it offers spectators, and the fans make it truly special. After the 2024 floods, this renewed commitment underscores our faith in Valencia and its passionate supporters. We’re excited to return for five more incredible Grands Prix through 2031.”
