2025 preseason test dates for the MotoGP class include the shakedown test from January 31st to February 2nd. Secondly, the Sepang test runs from February 5th to 7th at the Sepang International Circuit and will be the first official test for all MotoGP teams. On February 12th and 13th, the action continues for the Buriram Test in Thailand.
There are three in-season test events for the premiere MotoGP class in 2025. Scheduled for April 28th, the Jerez Circuit will allow riders to recalibrate and refine their setups and gather data ahead of the mid-season races. The second test takes place on June 9th at MotorLand Aragon. Concluding the in-season tests on September 15th, the Misano Circuit will host teams as they prepare for the final stretch of the championship.
This year marks a shift for the Moto2 and lightweight Moto3 classes, as the first two private preseason tests occur at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimão on February 10th and 11th. The second Portimão Moto2 test happens on February 12th and 13th.
The official preseason tests for Moto2 and Moto3 will occur at the Jerez Circuit from February 18th to 20th.
Key in-season test dates for Moto2 and Moto3 include important Le Mans and Brno sessions. The Le Mans Moto3 Test is scheduled for May 12th, followed by the Moto2 testing on May 13th. Testing continues later in the season at the Brno Circuit, with the Moto2 Test taking place on July 21st, followed by the Moto3 Test on July 22nd.
The 2025 MotoGP season launches with the Thai Grand Prix, February 28 through March 2nd at the Chang international Circuit.
