LiveWire has unveiled the LiveWire S2 Alpinista, a sporty addition to its S2 platform lineup. Designed as the brand’s first sports standard, the S2 Alpinista blends street agility, sporty performance, and hyper-touring versatility.
The LiveWire S2 Alpinista is built on LiveWire’s S2 platform, sharing its DNA with the LiveWire Del Mar and Mulholland models. Powered by an 84-horsepower electric motor, it generates 194 foot-pounds of torque, with a zero to sixty rating of 3 seconds.
At an MSRP of $15,999, the LiveWire S2 Alpinista seeks to offer exceptional value for riders looking for personalization and practicality. Its 17-inch wheels, paired with Dunlop Roadsmart IV tires, enhance riding capability while lowering the seat height by 1.1 inches compared to the S2 Del Mar. This design aspect sweetens ergonomics and permits lean angles of 52.1° to the left and 44.2° to the right.
The Alpinista’s 10.5 kWh battery provides up to 120 miles of city range and 71 miles on the highway. Charging is straightforward and efficient, with both Level 1 and Level 2 capabilities. The battery recharges from 20% to 80% in 5.9 hours on Level 1 or in just 78 minutes on Level 2.
Advanced rider aids include a Bosch 6-axis IMU with cornering-enhanced ABS and traction control. You can choose from four preset ride modes or customize two modes to suit your preferences.
Presented in two sleek color options—Glacier Silver and Asphalt Black—the LiveWire S2 Alpinista is available at authorized LiveWire retail locations, now.
