With its limited production run and impressive features, the 2025 Krämer GP2-890 XX encapsulates the essence of track performance while offering a unique blend of comfort and customization for riders who view motorcycling as an art and sport.
The 2025 Krämer GP2-890 XX features an 889cc parallel-twin engine sourced from KTM, identical to the GP2-890RR. It produces 138 horsepower and 74 lb-ft of torque through two large carbon fiber intake ducts. The engine includes titanium connecting rods, high-compression pistons from Pankl, and optimized racing camshafts. The CNC-machined cylinder head ports improve airflow, supported by a 48mm throttle body.
The electronics package features a Mectronik MKE7 ECU with a six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) for advanced traction and wheelie control. This open system allows users to reprogram the ECU with custom settings from the Krämer community. It includes an ECU Master ADU 5 dashboard featuring a five-inch LCD that provides essential motorcycle data and GPS-enabled lap timing.
The GP2-890 XX features a trellis frame made from 25CrMo4 chromoly steel, ensuring excellent stiffness and torsional rigidity for racing. It offers extensive adjustability, including swingarm angle, steering-head angle, triple clamp offset, seat height, and rearset position. The flat handlebars promote a more upright position, improving ergonomics and reducing fatigue during long track sessions. At the same time, the cast aluminum swingarm incorporates a progressive linkage on the shock mount, enhancing the initial feel and providing extra support when exiting corners.
Suspension is managed by fully adjustable WP APEX PRO 7543 closed-cartridge forks at the front and a matching WP APEX PRO 7746 shock at the rear. The rear shock offers high-speed and low-speed compression settings, preload, rebound, and ride-height adjustments.
Braking is handled by dual 300mm “T-Floater” rotors paired with Brembo Stylema calipers and a Brembo 19RCS Corsa Corta master cylinder. A fully floating 230mm rear disc handles back-end braking.
The GP2-890 XX rolls on lightweight carbon fiber BST Star Tek wheels, with a 3.5” x 17” rim at the front and a 6.0” x 17” rim at the rear fitted with Pirelli Diablo Superbike SC1 slicks, sized at 120/70 (front) and 180/60 (rear).
The 2025 Krämer GP2-890 XX embraces a carbon fiber-heavy design. The bodywork, air scoops, and number plates are all crafted from carbon fiber, shedding considerable weight compared to traditional full-fairing designs. This material choice enhances agility and responsiveness on the track and provides an aggressive “Double-X” aesthetic that reflects the bike’s performance pedigree. The fuel tank doubles as the tail section—a hallmark of Krämer design—holding 4.2 gallons (16 liters) of fuel in a rotationally molded plastic tank.
With a minimal production run, Krämer allows customers to customize their motorcycles directly from the factory. Buyers can choose any frame color from the RAL color wheel and select custom decals to be applied to the raw carbon fiber bodywork before it receives a glossy clear coat. These customization options are included at no additional cost, further enhancing the exclusivity of the ownership experience.
Expected to arrive at Krämer dealers in Spring 2025, the 2025 Krämer GP2-890 XX carries a premium price tag of $49,995 in the United States.
