Filippo Rovelli makes his MotoAmerica Debut

Italian Rider Filippo Rovelli joins Team Iso for his MotoAmerica debut at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

Italian rider Filippo Rovelli will make his MotoAmerica debut at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, joining Team Iso for the upcoming round. The team, led by owner Nobi Iso, will field Rovelli alongside Dominic Doyle, with both riders piloting Yamaha YZF-R7s.

Hailing from Gallarate, Italy, Rovelli has previously showcased his skills in the FIM World Supersport300 Championship, where he competed aboard a Yamaha YZF-R3. Last year, he participated in Italy’s Yamaha R7 Cup and secured a spot in the prestigious Yamaha R7 SuperFinale held at Circuit de Barcelona in Catalunya. Rovelli’s impressive performance during qualifying put him on the front row for the weekend’s races. Despite receiving a penalty that pushed him to the back of the grid, he swiftly made his way through the field. Rovelli surged forward on the final lap, securing a remarkable last-to-first victory.
