End of an Era: Pedrosa and Honda part ways.

Is Honda making room for Marquez and Rea team?

Dani Pedrosa will be released from his long-standing partnership with Repsol Honda at the end of the 2018 season. Pedrosa and Repsol have been together since the Spaniard joined the premier class in 2006. In 18 years, the former 125cc and 250cc World Champion has earned a total of 31 race wins and finished in second place for the championship a total of three times.

It has been reported that Repsol is making room for three-time World Superbike Champion Jonathan Rea to rejoin the team in 2019. Rea made his MotoGP debut in 2012, replacing the injured Casey Stoner for the Misano and Aragon rounds, finishing in 8th and 7th place respectively.
