MotoAmerica announced a new requirement for all riders to wear airbag-equipped suits and Dainese is offering its support with its D-air 3X airbag system. The D-air 3X is designed with triple-activation technology, providing riders with three potential deployments. Its replaceable gas generator ensures the airbag activates in just 45 milliseconds. The D-air 3X system combines advanced engineering with practical features that keep rider safety at the forefront. The system is not only approved under MotoAmerica’s Competitor Regulations but is also easy to monitor and maintain through an intuitive app. Riders can check the status of their airbag and replace gas generators swiftly after deployment.
Louis Ortega of Dainese North America expressed his support for MotoAmerica’s safety initiatives, stating, “We fully support MotoAmerica’s commitment to rider safety and are excited to offer the D-air 3X system to ensure the highest level of protection. The replaceable gas generator and the system’s triple-activation capability set a new benchmark in rider safety.”
The 2025 season will see riders like Bobby Fong and Blake Davis sporting the D-air 3X system, reinforcing its reputation as a premium choice for rider protective gear. The collaboration between MotoAmerica and Dainese notes a shared goal: ensuring that every competitor is equipped with top tier technology to stay safe while performing at the highest level.
With the D-air 3X system in place, Dainese looks at the 2025 as a proving ground for this technology, exploring how rider protection can blend with high-performance racing gear.
