BMW Motorrad releases pricing for the 2020 S 1000 RR

The third generation S 1000 RR is scheduled to hit showroom floors in the summer of 2019.

BMW has announced the pricing for their third generation of the S 1000 RR. The base price for the model will be $16,995 and is scheduled to hit dealer showroom floors this summer.

The 2020 model will be available in two colorways: Racing Red and Light White, Racing Blue Metallic, Racing Red (available only for the M Motorsport Package). The M Motorsport is an upgrade package that adds $3,700 to the MSRP.

BMW is offering optional performance packages and single upgrade options for the base model. The Select package ($1,400) includes a tire pressure monitor, next-generation dynamic damping control, heated grips, and cruise control. The Updated Race Package ($1,600) contains Ride Modes Pro, forged wheels, M Lightweight Battery, M Chassis Kit with Rear Ride Height Adjustment and Swingarm Pivot Point.

The M Package ($3,700) features M Motorsport Paint, M Carbon Wheels, Ride Modes Pro, M Sport Seat, M Lightweight Battery, M Chassis Kit with Rear Ride Height Adjustment and Swing Arm Pivot Point and a total weight of 427 pounds (7.7 lb. weight savings).
