BMW is set to shake up the mid-range adventure motorcycle segment with its latest offering – the 2024 BMW F GS Series, which includes the F 800 GS, F 900 GS, and F 900 GS Adventure. These models aim to take over their respective segments with rider-centric enhancements, advanced features, and more power, all while being lighter and more practical.

The F 800 GS is an ideal entry-level model for those just starting their adventure riding journey. Its powerful motor and standard equipment offer an excellent balance of performance and practicality. The F 900 GS, on the other hand, caters to off-road enthusiasts with significant weight reduction, increased power, and additional equipment. And for those who love long-distance travel on both on and off-road terrains, the F 900 GS Adventure is the ultimate travel companion.

Some key highlights of the BMW F GS Series include a new 895 cc parallel-twin engine with counterbalance shafts that deliver a smoother and more powerful ride. The F 800 GS boasts 87 hp and 67 lb-ft of torque, while the F 900 GS takes it up a notch with 105 hp and 68.6 lb-ft of torque. Additionally, the F 900 GS has over 30 lbs of weight reduction compared to its predecessor, making it more agile and high-performance.

The BMW F GS Series also has enhanced safety features like ABS Pro and Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), with optional Ride Modes Pro, including Enduro and Enduro Pro modes. The series boasts a trellis steel frame, full LED lighting, a 6.5-inch TFT display with Connectivity, and various optional packages to suit individual rider preferences.

The GS Series drivetrain has been significantly upgraded for 2024, delivering more power and torque thanks to increased displacement and updated components.
