Aprilia officially launched its RSV4 Factory and Tuono V4 SE-09 SBK models, an homage to the RSV4’s momentous first victory at the World Superbike Championship on July 26, 2009, by Max Biaggi at the Brno circuit. Aprilia would continue to accrue seven world titles, 44 wins, and 102 podiums.
In celebration of this historic achievement, Aprilia has reincarnated the RSV4’s and Tuono V4’s iconic livery, featuring the distinct red and white trim against a sleek black backdrop, mimicking Biaggi’s winning bike. Both the RSV4 Factory and Tuono V4 Factory models in the SE-09 SBK edition are equipped with carbon front brake air intakes and carbon front mudguards, enhancing both aesthetics and performance. Each bike also proudly displays a progressive number on the fuel tank, highlighting its exclusivity.
The SE-09 SBK models were revealed to the public during the MotoGP Grand Prix of the Americas in Austin, Texa by factory riders Aleix Espargaró and Maverick Viñales. These special editions that honor Max Biaggi are now available for purchase, with the Aprilia RSV4 Factory SE-09 SBK priced at $26,499 and the Aprilia Tuono V4 Factory SE-09 SBK at $19,999.
