Michael Ruben Rinaldi signs with Aruba.it Racing Ducati, joining Scott Redding in 2021

Chaz Davies out at Aruba.it Racing Ducati, replaced by Michael Ruben Rinaldi.


After seven seasons with the Aruba.it Racing Ducati WorldSBK team, Chaz Davies will be leaving the team at the end of the 2020 season. Davies has not announced what his plans are for the 2021 season. This news came after the announcement that Italian rider and former European Superstock Champion Michael Ruben Rinaldi, will straddle the Aruba.it Racing Ducati Panigale V4 R, alongside teammate Scott Redding for the 2021 season.


Rinaldi, currently piloting for the team GoEleven earned the 2017 European Superstock 1000 Champion, after joining the WorldSBK paddock in 2014.

“After an exciting journey in Ducati, joining the official team is an honour for me, as well as confirmation of the quality of the work done over the years. My first target will be to repay, through the results, the trust that has been given to me. For an Italian rider, racing with Ducati is an extraordinary feeling, and I am sure that the passion of the Ducati people will give me an extra boost.” – Michael Ruben Rinaldi.
