Ducati unveils their Streetfighter V4

The prototype machine will make its debut at this year’s Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.

After a little speculation, and a few rounds of concept art floating about the internet, Ducati has officially released images of and the plans for their Streetfighter V4. Currently, the bike is a prototype that is set to be raced by Carlin Dunne, winner of the 2018 Hill Climb, at the 2019 “Race to the Clouds.”

Here’s what we know so far about the bike. Its a stripped down, bare-knuckle version of the Panigale V4, equipped with high and wide handlebars, powered by a 1100cc Desmosedici Stradale and presented in a Centro Stile Ducati designed pixelated livery. Typically, a prototype’s livery is less than revealing to hide the final visuals before the official release. In this case, it is pretty safe to conclude that this what the final version will look appear as.

Ducati CEO, Claudio Domenicali, stated that the Streetfighter V4 will be one of the focal points of the Ducati World Premiere 2020 and will be presented to the public at EICMA 2019 before its scheduled arrival in Ducati dealerships beginning in March of 2020.
