With a lineup featuring some of the most talented and experienced riders on the grid, KTM is set to make a serious challenge for the championship title. With seven Grand Prix wins and two Sprint victories under their belt, the Austrian manufacturer is determined to raise the bar in 2025.

The 2025 Red Bull KTM MotoGP lineup boasts an impressive roster of riders with Italian, Spanish, and South African representation. Red Bull KTM Factory Racing will field Brad Binder and Pedro Acosta, while Red Bull KTM Tech3 will feature Enea Bastianini and Maverick Viñales. Collectively, these four riders have secured five world championships and 72 wins across all racing categories, making them one of the strongest squads in KTM’s history.

Brad Binder, a long-time KTM rider, enters his sixth MotoGP season with a track record of consistent top-six finishes in the past four seasons and top-five placements in the last two. The South African is looking to take his performance to the next level and mount a serious championship challenge. Pedro Acosta, the youngest rider on the grid, returns for his second season in MotoGP after an impressive rookie year in 2024, where he secured five podiums and finished sixth in the standings.

Enea Bastianini and Maverick Viñales join Red Bull KTM Tech3 as the team looks to inject a mix of experience and aggression into its campaign. Bastianini, who finished fourth in the 2024 standings with two wins and nine podiums, brings a deep understanding of MotoGP dynamics and a proven ability to fight at the front. Viñales, one of the most versatile riders in the field, has celebrated victories with three different manufacturers, with his most recent win coming at the 2024 Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas.

Binder expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming season, stating, “It’s crazy to think this is my sixth season in MotoGP already. Last year, I probably learned the most in my entire career, and I feel it has made me a much better rider. My goal for 2025 is to take that knowledge and step up to fight at the front consistently. We’re not far off, and with KTM finishing second in the Constructors’ Championship, we know we have what it takes to challenge for the top spot.”

Acosta, eager for his second MotoGP campaign, reflected on his rookie season, saying, “2024 was a good year, but we still have goals to achieve. I’ve learned how to control a race and adapt to MotoGP. Moving up to the factory team is a dream come true. Having Brad as a teammate is great because his experience will be valuable. The key focus for me in 2025 will be improving our qualifying pace and the opening laps of races. We had podium and race-winning speed last year but struggled in the early stages. Fixing those areas will be crucial.”

Bastianini is eager to make his mark with KTM, commenting, “I’m very curious about this season. It’s important to stay calm at the start, understand the bike, and get used to the team. By the third or fourth race, I believe we can be competitive. When I first tested the bike, I was impressed by how fast and agile it was, especially in cornering and gearbox performance.”

Viñales, who has been a standout performer across multiple manufacturers, sees his move to KTM as a perfect fit. “Wearing the Red Bull KTM colors feels amazing. Since I was a kid, I’ve seen them dominate in motocross and road racing. It’s a dream team for me. My first impression of the KTM RC16 was, ‘Wow, this bike is a beast—it’s fast!’ In MotoGP’s new era, speed in the first few laps is crucial, and this bike delivers. My goal for the season is to stay focused, adapt quickly, and perform at my best.”
