Kawasaki addresses the needs of the sport-touring sector with the 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX ABS and the premium Ninja 1100SX SE ABS. Under the five-gallon tank is a 1,099cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine, that delivers 134 hp at 9,000 rpm and 83.2 foot pounds of torque at 7,600 rpm. The 16-valve engine’s downdraft throttle bodies optimize airflow, while a secondary balancer reduces vibration.

The new engine is situated inside an aluminum twin tube frame whose frame beams are located above the engine, which also serves as a stress member, resulting in an overall leaner motorcycle design. The five-piece chassis system includes the steering stem, two main frame sections, and two C-shaped cross sections.

The suspension system of the Ninja 1100SX includes a set of adjustable 41 mm inverted front forks and a horizontal back-link rear shock component above the swingarm. The rear shock is also adjustable via a remote adjuster. The SE ABS is equipped with an aluminum body, single-tubed Öhlins S46 rear shock.

Rolling on six-spoke wheels, the Ninja 1100SX is fitted with Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S23 tires. Stopping power employs twin 300mm front rotors gripped by 4-piston radial-mount monobloc calipers. The calipers have two different diameter pistons, 32mm upper and 30mm lower, for a controlled braking experience. At the rear, you’ll find a single 260mm rotor mated to a single-piston caliper. The SE version’s brake system is upgraded to Brembo components featuring M4.32 front brake calipers, a Brembo master cylinder, and Brembo brake discs.

This bike is engineered for a comfortable ride. With a seat height of 32.3 inches, the 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX features an upright riding position with raised handlebars, mounted above the upper triple clamp. Added weights and heavier bar ends reduce vibrations for a smoother ride. An adjustable windshield with four positions mitigates wind protection. Strategically placed vents direct hot engine air away from you. Sculpted grips for the passenger allow for easier holding while vibration-absorbing weights on the rear foot guards and rubber pads on both front and rear footpegs sweeten comfort for you and your passenger.

The suite of electronic rider aides includes power modes (full and low), riding modes (sport, road, rain), the Kawasaki quick-shifter, and traction control. The Kawasaki quick shifter provides clutchless upshifts and downshifts. Kawasaki traction control offers stability and control. For longer rides, electronic cruise control is included. Kawasaki’s Cornering Management Function and Intelligent Anti-lock Brake System provide accurate braking and stability. Kawasaki Cornering Management utilizes IMU feedback to manage systems. The Kawasaki Intelligent Anti-Lock Brake System regulates brake pressure by using various data inputs like wheel speed and engine output information. Kawasaki makes note that this is the first time on a production motorcycle that the ABS ECU is connected to the engine ECU, resulting in premium component communication, allowing for precise brake modulation in smaller increments.

A 4.3” all-digital TFT color dash, with a selectable black or white background and automatic brightness adjustment, displays all pertinent bike information. The display offers two modes: Type 1 for touring and Type 2 for sport riding.

Priced at $13,699 for the standard model and $15,399 for the SE, the 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX ABS will be available in Metallic Carbon Gray/Metallic Diablo Black, and Ninja 1100SX SE ABS will arrive in Emerald Blazed Green/Metallic Diablo Black.
