Inside the all-new 2025 M 1000 RR, you’ll find the formidable BMW inline-four engine, delivering an impressive 205 horsepower at 13,000 rpm and 83 lb-ft of torque at 11,000 rpm that caps engine speed at 15,100 rpm.

2025’s M 1000 RR has new full-shaft titanium valves and an increased compression ratio from 13.5:1 to 14.5:1 over the previous models. The intake and exhaust ports now feature an oval shape, and the throttle valves have been enlarged from 48 mm to 52 mm, increasing the cross-sectional area by approximately 17% and enhancing airflow and combustion efficiency. The combustion chamber shape has been modified, and the airbox geometry has been adapted to complement the changes. The pistons have been redesigned to handle increased thermal and mechanical needs.

The titanium exhaust system has been updated to match the new oval exhaust ports, featuring modified cylinder head flanges and oval-shaped header inlets. The internal routing of the mid pipe has also been adjusted to improve exhaust flow.

The new M Winglets 3.0, crafted from carbon fiber (CFK), generate increased downforce, rising from 49.8 lbs to 66.1 lbs at 186 mph, without sacrificing speed. The redesigned front fairing and windscreen provide a more aggressive appearance and improve aerodynamics.

The chassis has been refined with a revised Flex Frame, featuring improved stiffness in the steering head area. An upper engine mounting point on the left side has been relocated from the cylinder head to the engine housing. The new M Quick-Action Throttle reduces the rotation angle from 72 to 58 degrees for a more relaxed throttle control without needing to reposition the hand.

BMW never slacks in the electronics department. The Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) system now includes a Slide Control function, employing a steering angle sensor to allow controlled power slides when accelerating out of corners so you can manage drift angles. The ABS Pro system introduces Brake Slide Assist, which allows controlled braking drifts by limiting rear wheel slip based on steering angle data.
