XDA’s WPGC Bike Fest Returns to Maryland International Raceway for Its 26th Year

WPGC Bike Fest 2026 hits Maryland International Raceway in Mechanicsville July 24–26 — the 26th annual running of the XDA’s biggest event of the year and the organization’s marquee weekend on the East Coast drag racing calendar. More than 600 professional, sportsman, and grudge racers compete across the three days for over $100,000 in cash purse.

600+ Racers, a $100,000 Purse, and Bikes Running 240 MPH

The number that defines WPGC Bike Fest 2026: the Orient Express Pro Street class runs speeds over 240 mph in roughly 6 seconds — genuinely elite quarter-mile performance and the marquee statistic of WPGC Bike Fest 2026. The full class lineup spans Pro Street, DME Racing Real Street, HTP Performance Super Stock, Breezewood Farms Top Sportsman, and multiple Index and E.T. brackets, alongside a structured ladder of “Bulls” classes — Boosted Bulls, Nitrous Bulls, Monster Bulls, DMV Bulls, and All Motor Bulls — a format distinctive to this event.

Saturday night brings the “Running of the Bulls” Grudge Program, unsanctioned heads-up racing pitting bike against bike outside points competition — a format with its own dedicated following inside drag racing culture. HTP Performance’s Afterdark Underground runs Saturday from 4 pm to 11 pm with more grudge action, Running of the Bulls, and additional Pro Qualifiers under the lights.

Saturday Night: Live Music, Custom Bikes, and the Running of the Bulls

Main event entertainment moved to Saturday evening this year specifically because it’s cooler than Sunday — a small but practical scheduling call. The WPGC stage features live performances from Scooby DaGodSon & Sirius Company, Major League Band, and Motiveknows, with DJ Flexx, DJ Thrill, and Coco Louie hosting, plus the crowd-favorite Bikini Contest and a Beer Garden. Team Money Cycles runs its Sound Competition and Custom Bike Show both Friday and Saturday, with builds the release promises are “the wildest custom bikes you have ever seen” — worth the walk through the pits even if you’re there primarily for the track.

Admission to WPGC Bike Fest 2026 is $55 for an adult weekend pass, $35 for Saturday-only, $30 for Sunday-only; junior passes (12–15) are $20 for a weekend or $10 for a single day, and kids 11 and under get in free. Tech cards for racers are available at the registration tent on the vendor midway, which also runs all weekend with parts, accessories, and apparel deals. Twenty-six years in, WPGC Bike Fest 2026 is still the event the XDA builds its whole season around — and the Orient Express class alone is worth the drive to Mechanicsville.
