For 2026, Triumph Motorcycles injects its acclaimed adventure sport segment with new DNA in the form of the Triumph Tiger Sport 800 Tour. This isn’t just a new trim—it’s a comprehensive upgrade, fine-tuned for riders who demand long-distance comfort without sacrificing the aggressive, sport-inspired performance the Tiger series is known for. With standard-fit touring hardware, advanced tech, and new paintwork that looks like it rolled out of a concept studio, the Triumph Tiger Sport 800 Tour brings the full package.

Available from March 2026, the new Tour model builds on the proven platform of the standard Tiger Sport 800, but turns up the volume for distance-focused riders. Touring gear is now factory-fitted: center stand, dual heated grips, hand guards, and a plush dual Comfort Seat ensure that all-day saddle time is no longer just tolerable—it’s enjoyable. Triumph takes things a step further with an aluminum luggage rack fitted with integrated, color-matched 57-liter panniers and a 49-liter twin-helmet top box that comes complete with dual backrest pads. That’s 106 liters of hauling capacity, pre-installed and paint-matched straight from the Hinckley mothership.
The Triumph Tiger Sport 800 Tour adds a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) for added confidence, giving riders real-time feedback and helping avoid roadside surprises. From a tech standpoint, the Tour inherits the excellent rider aid suite from its base model—ride-by-wire throttle, three ride modes (Road, Rain, and Sport), and switchable traction control—all made more refined with Triumph’s Optimized Cornering ABS and Traction Control. It also includes Triumph Shift Assist, Bluetooth navigation and music connectivity, full LED lighting, and a clean dual-display LCD/TFT dash that’s both bright and intuitive.

Triumph Tiger Sport 800 Ups the Power and Agility
Under the tank, the Triumph Tiger Sport 800 Tour lies the same potent 798cc liquid-cooled triple that launched the Tiger Sport’s evolution. The engine makes a hearty 113 horsepower at 10,750 rpm and delivers 84Nm of torque at 8,500 rpm. That torque curve is beautifully broad, providing 90% of peak torque across the midrange, which makes for less gear hunting and more responsive, fluid acceleration.
It’s not just about peak numbers, though. The triple’s character blends low-end grunt with high-revving thrills, giving the Tiger Sport 800 Tour a flexible personality—perfect for carving mountain passes or eating highway miles two-up with full luggage. The six-speed gearbox is crisp and tight, now enhanced with Triumph Shift Assist to reduce clutch fatigue and smooth out aggressive upshifts and downshifts, especially during spirited riding or fully loaded touring.

Handling is dialed in with a Showa suspension setup offering 5.9 inches (150mm) of travel front and rear. The 41mm upside-down forks come with rebound and compression adjustment, while the Showa monoshock in back includes rebound damping and remote hydraulic preload adjustment—ideal for on-the-fly tuning when conditions or payload change. Michelin Road 5 tires wrap lightweight 17-inch cast aluminum wheels, delivering sportbike-level grip and feedback even in poor conditions. The braking setup includes dual 310mm front discs with Triumph-branded four-piston radial calipers and a 255mm rear disc with a single-piston caliper—plenty of stopping power even under full touring load.
Triumph Tiger Sport 800 Brings Premium Feel and Value
Ergonomics were a priority in the development of the Triumph Tiger Sport 800 Tour. A well-padded Comfort Seat features 3D net technology and integrated airflow channels for better cooling and weight distribution. Heated grips and wide hand guards come standard, making cold-weather rides far more manageable. The bike’s 32.9-inch seat height and narrow stand-over make it approachable for a wide range of riders, and the single-handed adjustable windscreen with integrated deflectors helps cut fatigue on longer journeys.
Visual appeal is off the charts thanks to two new factory paint schemes. Matte Cobalt lays down deep blue tones, contrasted with Matte Sapphire Black and Gold accents across the fairings, cockpit, and luggage. Carnival Red is the more extroverted of the two—rich gloss red surfaces paired with black and gold elements for a truly eye-catching finish. The panniers and top box are matched perfectly, completing a look that is every bit as cohesive as it is upscale.

With a wet weight of 511 lbs including luggage, the Triumph Tiger Sport 800 Tour doesn’t feel bloated or unwieldy. Instead, it strikes a near-perfect balance between stability and agility, feeling manageable at low speed and composed when hustling. Fuel range is solid thanks to an 18.6-liter (4.9-gallon) tank, further increasing the model’s long-distance capability.
Starting at $14,695, the Triumph Tiger Sport 800 Tour is priced competitively, especially considering the level of standard equipment. A global two-year unlimited mileage warranty and 10,000-mile service intervals help keep ownership costs low. For those who like to customize, Triumph offers 35 accessories ranging from performance to protection—all engineered to integrate seamlessly with the platform.
