Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX – Limited Edition Powerhouse
With only 1,200 units available globally, the 2026 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX symbolizes exclusivity, power, and the new next in technology. The RX variant emerges as the ultimate evolution of Triumph’s Speed Triple lineage, defined by its aggressive ergonomics, sophisticated electronics, and dynamic performance characteristics.
The Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX introduces an even more aggressive riding position than its RS sibling, ensuring maximum rider control and feedback. Triumph has carefully adjusted the ergonomics with clip-on handlebars and a beautifully machined top yoke, positioned 2.71 inches lower and 2.04 inches further forward than the RS. Complementing this stance, the footpegs are elevated by 0.57 inches and moved rearward by a full inch, allowing you a more committed, track-ready position that inspires confidence at high speeds and through aggressive cornering.
Under the carbon fiber bodywork and exclusive Triumph Performance Yellow paint, under the 4.1 gallon fuel tank and caged inside the lightweight aluminum twin-spar frame is a 1160cc triple engine delivering a staggering 180.5 horsepower at 10,750 rpm and 94.4 foot pounds of torque at 8,750 rpm. Triumph has refined the engine further from its Moto2-derived experience for more power and tenacious acceleration. Coupled with a stainless steel three-in-one exhaust system that finishes with a titanium Akrapovič end pipe exhaust system as standard, the Speed Triple 1200 RX provides a distinctive auditory experience.
Triumph’s latest-generation Öhlins Smart EC3 semi-active suspension 43mm front system, featuring Objective Based Tuning Interface (OBTi), provides real-time adjustments to damping, delivering optimal handling characteristics across varied riding conditions. Further sharpening this precision is the addition of the Öhlins SD EC electronic steering damper, fully integrated with the suspension system to provide seamless and stable handling feedback. An Öhlins TTX36 monoshock handles rear-end suspension duties.
The RX roles on Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 tires mounted to lightweight cast aluminum wheels for proper grip and stability. The powerful Brembo Stylema calipers gripping a pair of 320 mm front rotors, paired with a Brembo MCS adjustable master cylinder, deliver solid and consistent braking. At the rear, a single 220 mm rotor is managed by a Brembo two piston caliper.
The RX employs a comprehensive suite of rider aids and technology, including selectable ride modes (Road, Rain, Sport, Track, and Rider configurable mode), optimized cornering ABS, traction control, Front Wheel Lift Control, Engine Braking Control, Brake Slide Assist (Track mode only), and cruise control.
Triumph has integrated a full-color 5-inch TFT display with My Triumph Connectivity System as a standard offering turn-by-turn navigation, phone connectivity, and music control, all mitigated via a 5-way joystick and illuminated controls at the bars. A keyless ignition system, complete with steering lock and fuel cap operation, is a welcomed feature.
The $21,495 limited edition Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX offers a blend of performance, handling, technology, and craftsmanship. Expect their arrival at the dealership in mid-2025.
