On the global stage, the CBR1000RR is known by its moniker, the Fireblade, except for the US. That all changes with the arrival of the 2021 model of Honda’s flagship superbike. The 2021 Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP is the perfect storm of championship-winning MotoGP technology and world-class performance. The Fireblade’s powerful inline four-cylinder engine has been revamped to be compact inside its new and longer aluminum diamond frame.

The Fireblade is equipped with a full suite of rider aids. Torque control options are provided via the Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). Other aids include Start mode, Power, Engine Brake, and Wheelie Control. A six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit is installed along with a three-level honda electronic steering damper and an Ohlins Smart Electronic Control setup. New Brembo Stylema calipers work in harmony with 330mm front rotors and a two-level ABS for impressive braking performance. Aerodynamics of the bodywork are developed from and inspired by the RC213V HRC MotoGP machine, including the wings.
