Richard Rawlings, founder of Gas Monkey Garage, has been named the Grand Marshal for the upcoming Arrowhead Sturgis TT, presented by Rick Ware Racing & The CAT Rental Store. Rawlings expressed his appreciation, “It’s an absolute honor that American Flat Track chose me to be their Grand Marshal for this historical event, especially now that I’ve hung a shingle in Sturgis. It means a lot.”
Rawlings has significantly influenced the automotive industry by restoring classic cars and turning them into custom creations, as seen on his television show, Fast N’ Loud. Rawlings and his team are also launching the Gas Monkey Sturgis Bar & Grill, introducing an all-new full-service bar and restaurant at the 84th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, along with a Texas Roadhouse-style menu and official Gas Monkey Sturgis merchandise.
Beyond his automotive ventures, Richard Rawlings has ventured into diverse fields, including owning restaurants, launching his own tequila and energy drink, sponsoring teams, writing a memoir, and establishing the Gas Monkey Foundation, which has contributed over a million dollars to charities worldwide.
The Arrowhead Sturgis TT presented by Rick Ware Racing & The CAT Rental Store is open to all fans free of charge. The pre-race show will be broadcast on FS2 on Saturday, August 17, at 1:00 p.m. ET, followed by the race broadcast on FOX at 2:00 p.m. ET. For those unable to catch the initial airing, the two-hour pre-race and race package will re-air on FS1 later that evening, starting at 9:00 p.m. ET.
