The much-anticipated MotoGP 2024 Calendar has finally been released! This upcoming year promises to rev up fans’ spirits as the world’s most exciting sport delivers 22 Grands Prix across 18 mesmerizing countries. With the MotoGP calendar spotlighting such an extensive list of events, 2024 is set to be a motorsport marquee.
The year 2024 celebrates the 75th anniversary of motorcycle Grand Prix racing and heralds the sport’s monumental transition to 100% sustainable fuel. Kicking off this green initiative, the MotoGP 2024 Calendar will observe fuel mandates of a minimum of 40% non-fossil origin, aiming for a complete 100% by 2027. The commitment to sustainability is clear and harmonizes with the calendar’s structure. Events are strategically regionalized, optimizing routes for freight and personnel, promoting efficiency, and reducing the carbon footprint.
The Grand Prix of Qatar is opening the throttle, shining under the floodlights at the Lusail International Circuit. The exhilarating circuit in Portugal, Autodromo Internacional do Algarve, chases this high-octane opener. MotoGP roars towards the Americas as we shift gears, featuring the iconic Termas de Rio Hondo and the Circuit of the Americas in a thrilling back-to-back schedule.
Europe then captures the limelight with the classic Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto and the Le Mans in May, poised to smash its attendance records. The latter part of the season unfurls new horizons, with MotoGP debuting at the Sokol International Racetrack in Kazakhstan, marking it as the 75th venue to host a premier-class race.
