MotoAmerica Road Atlanta 2025 – Beaubier’s Superbike Masterclass

The headline act of MotoAmerica Road Atlanta 2025 was undoubtedly Cameron Beaubier’s commanding performance in the Superbike class. Riding the Tytler’s Cycle Racing BMW M 1000 RR, Beaubier secured victories in both wet and dry conditions, showcasing exceptional versatility and skill. On Saturday’s rain-drenched circuit, Beaubier expertly fended off relentless pressure from Jake Gagne, ultimately claiming his tenth career Superbike win at Road Atlanta and his first rain win aboard the BMW.

Sunday saw clearer skies, but the same intense focus from Beaubier. Taking an early lead, he smoothly maintained control over the field, eventually crossing the finish line 2.3 seconds ahead of Attack Performance Progressive Yamaha Racing’s Bobby Fong. This victory marked a historic milestone—Beaubier’s 89th career win, tying him with Josh Hayes for the most AMA wins across all classes.

Gagne, who finished second on Saturday, couldn’t replicate that form on Sunday, crossing fifth behind Suzuki’s Sean Dylan Kelly and Ducati’s Josh Herrin. Herrin’s consistent podium finishes throughout the weekend positioned him strongly in the championship standings.

MotoAmerica Road Atlanta 2025 – Battle of the Baggers and Support Classes

MotoAmerica Road Atlanta 2025 also spotlighted the Mission King Of The Baggers class, where Frenchman Loris Baz put on a show for race fans by clinching his first victory in the category. Baz, aboard his S&S/Indian Motorcycle Challenger, stunned reigning champion Kyle Wyman by overtaking him on the final lap in wet conditions on Saturday, winning by just 0.199 seconds. Wyman responded emphatically on Sunday, overcoming a disastrous start to win comfortably, extending his championship lead significantly.

In the Supersport class, defending champion Mathew Scholtz rebounded from a disappointing fifth-place Saturday finish to dominate Sunday’s race. Scholtz expertly navigated Road Atlanta, securing his tenth career Supersport win and significantly narrowing the points gap with championship leader PJ Jacobsen, who remained consistent with a second-place finish after his victory in Race 1 on Saturday.
