In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, three more rounds of the 2020 season have been canceled. The HJC Helmets Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland, the Motul TT Assen and the Grand Prix of Finland will not take place in 2020.
While two of the rounds are familiar to MotoGP fans, the third was going to make its debut as a GP circuit. The HJC Helmets Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland was scheduled for June 19 to 21. The Motul TT Assen at the TT Circuit Assen, also known as “The Cathedral” was set for June 26 to 28. The new kid on the block was the Grand Prix of Finland at the new KymiRing was to make its debut July 10 to 12.
The cancellation of these rounds, subsequentially, also means that FIM Enel MotoE World Cup, Northern Talent Cup and the FIM Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup will not take place.
