Team Hammer has signed Max VanDenBrouck to race in the 2025 MotoAmerica Supersport series. 19-year-old Max Van, as he’s called around the paddock is ready to make his factory-backed debut riding the Vision Wheel M4 ECSTAR Suzuki GSX-R750.
Max Van is stepping up from the Junior Cup class where he has spent the past three seasons before advancing to the Supersport class in 2024 where he made his debut aboard a Team Hammer-prepared Suzuki GSX-R750. By the end of his rookie season, he secured five top-ten finishes, including four in the final five races. For 2025, Max Van will team up Tyler Scott, under the guidance of the legend, Josh Hayes.
“I’m very excited for this opportunity,” said Max Van. “To be associated with Suzuki and to race for a team that has been competing for 45 years is something huge. My family’s business, Sportbiketrackgear.com, has been involved in racing for a long time, and being around the track helped me decide that this is what I wanted to do. My first year in AMA Pro Supersport was a success, and I learned a lot. I picked up the pace in the second half of the season against a stacked field, and that got me noticed. I’m looking forward to continuing to improve this season.”
Team Hammer’s Vice President of Operations, Chris Ulrich, praised Max Van for his steady progression in his rookie Supersport campaign, stating, “Max showed steady progress during his first MotoAmerica Supersport season. He consistently improved and was fighting well within the top ten by the end of the season. He’s another young American talent we have helped develop, and we look forward to seeing what he can do in his sophomore season.”
The 2025 season marks Team Hammer’s 45th year of professional road racing competition, continuing a legacy of success that includes 134 AMA Pro and MotoAmerica National race wins, 373 podium finishes, 11 national championships, and two FIM South American championships. The team’s long-standing dominance in American motorcycle racing makes it an ideal place for Max Van to elevate his career.
