Aprilia Racing has officially announced that Marco Bezzecchi from the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team has signed a multi-year deal to join the factory Aprilia Racing team. He will race alongside Jorge Martin from the Prima Pramac Racing team starting in the 2025 season, making Bezzecchi the first Italian rider to join the Noale factory full-time since 2020 when Lorenzo Savadori, now a test rider, raced alongside Aleix Espargaro for the final three rounds of the year.
Aprilia CEO Massimo Rivola welcomed Bezzecchi to the team, emphasizing the excitement of having an Italian rider on board, “We are really happy with our line-up for 2025. Martín and Bezzecchi were our first choices for their age, talent, grit, and determination. With them, we can write a new and important chapter in the history of Aprilia Racing.”
Marco Bezzecchi has had an impressive start in the premier class, claiming nine podiums and three wins since his debut in 2022. In the 2023 season, he achieved an impressive third place in the championship standings. The addition of Bezzecchi alongside Martin in Aprilia’s factory team is seen as an exciting and promising development.
