With concerns for public safety, AMA Pro Racing and American Flat Track Racing have made the decision to postpone the race event scheduled for this weekend. The 79th Daytona 200 has been rescheduled for October 2020, to be part of Biketoberfest. The Daytona TT has not received a new date.
In an official statement, the two organizations expressed, “We believe this decision is in the best interest of the safety and well-being of our fans, competitors, officials and everyone associated with the sport. We will continue to monitor this dynamic situation as we assess future race events.”
