Triumph Motorcycles has again established the benchmark in the muscle roadster segment by unveiling the 2025 Rocket 3 Storm R and GT models. This announcement heralds a new chapter in the Rocket series’ legacy, which has captivated riders with its power and presence for two decades. The 2025 Triumph Rocket 3 promises explosive performance and superior handling and introduces a more menacing aesthetic to match its formidable capabilities.
At the heart of the 2025 Triumph Rocket 3 Storm’s appeal is its monumental enhancement in power and torque. The models now boast an impressive 180 horsepower at 7,000rpm, thanks to a 15hp increase from the prior model, and the torque has seen a bump to a staggering 166 ft-lb at just 4,000rpm. This upgrade in the world’s largest production motorcycle engine, now at 2,458cc, ensures that the Rocket 3 Storm models offer an exhilarating ride with explosive acceleration and a flat, rich torque curve that promises effortless response in any gear.
The introduction of lighter, ten-spoke cast aluminum wheels for both the 16-inch rear and 17-inch front reduces unsprung mass and significantly enhances the motorcycle’s agility and steering response. This improvement and the durable yet lightweight aluminum frame ensure an unmatched torque-to-weight ratio for riders.
The aesthetic of the 2025 Rocket 3 Storm models mirrors their menacing performance. Triumph has embraced a dark, imposing color scheme featuring blacked-out details and anodized finishes that underscore the motorcycle’s aggressive stance. The sizeable 4.75-gallon fuel tank proudly displays the new Storm name, complemented by three distinctive two-tone color options for both the R and GT models, elevating the visual appeal of these muscle roadsters.
The Rocket 3 Storm employs a fully adjustable Showa monoshock RSU and piggy-back reservoir alongside large 1.9″ Showa forks adjustable for rebound and compression damping. The braking system features top-specification radial Brembo Stylema brake calipers, ensuring the bike’s performance is matched by equally exceptional stopping power.
Ergonomically, the Rocket 3 Storm models cater to different riding preferences. The R model offers a roadster rider position for a more engaged ride, while the GT provides a more relaxed, upright position with its swept-back handlebar setup. Each model features premium black-painted cast aluminum seat finishers with distinct seating setups prioritizing comfort and style.
The Rocket 3 Storm’s blacked-out style is engineered, from the black powder-coated intake cover to the hydro-formed exhaust headers. This attention to detail is evident in the high-quality black anodized finishes found throughout the motorcycle. Rider-focused technology enhances the overall riding experience with lean-angle sensitive ABS, traction control, switchable throttle maps, and cruise control, ensuring riders can fully exploit the Rocket 3 Storm’s performance.
Priced at $24,995 for the R model and $25,795 for the GT, the 2025 Triumph Rocket 3 Storm models are poised to dominate the muscle roadster segment. With bikes arriving in dealerships from April 2024, enthusiasts can look forward to experiencing the pinnacle of power, style, and agility that the new Rocket 3 Storm promises to deliver.
