The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R returns to Kawasaki’s supersport model lineup with options and features suitable for on-track, street, or road duty. At the heart of the 2025 ZX-6R lies the formidable 636cc ultra-compact engine, delivering impressive power and torque across the RPMs. This engine, designed with a long stroke for enhanced low-to-mid-range performance, is ideally suited for city riding. Key features include a ram air induction system for smooth power delivery and a digital fuel injection system for optimal throttle response and performance.
The bike is equipped with the latest Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC) system, offering three modes that combine features from the flagship Ninja ZX-14R and the Concours 14. You can choose from different Power Modes, creating eight combinations to suit various riding scenarios. The optional Automated Shift Assistant (ASA) further sweetens the riding experience by automating clutch and gear-shifting, providing seamless transitions and a direct connection to the powerful engine.
The Ninja ZX-6R boasts an aluminum perimeter frame, offering superb handling and balance. The Showa Big Piston Separate Function Inverted Fork and Uni-Trak Rear Suspension ensure a plush ride on the road or the track. The high-performance brake system, featuring the optional Kawasaki Intelligent Anti-lock Brake System (KIBS), provides smooth feedback and added confidence during hard braking.
The lighting department features compact hybrid projector/reflector headlights and a layered front cowl. Winglet-style inlets, chin spoilers, and a central Ram-Air intake create a distinguishing and aerodynamic profile. Inspired by the Ninja ZX-10R, the LED taillight adds a sophisticated touch to the bike’s back end.
Riders will appreciate the 4.3-inch all-digital TFT display, which offers excellent visibility and customizable background colors. The display adjusts brightness automatically based on available light and includes a range of functions, such as a digital speedometer, gear position indicator, and fuel consumption information. Bluetooth connectivity and the RIDEOLOGY THE APP enhance the riding experience by allowing access to vehicle information, riding logs, and notifications.
The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is offered in three colorways, in ABS ($12,399) and non-ABS ($11,399) options: Metallic Matte Dark Gray, Pearl Robotic White/Metallic Graphite Gray, and the KRT Edition Lime Green/Ebony/Pearl Blizzard White.
I’m looking forward to spending some quality in the saddle of the new ZX-6R. Stay tuned for the upcoming review. In the meantime, comment below on what you like about the 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R.
